The Toggle Plate Lug for Metso / Nordberg C80 Jaw Crusher (Part Nos. ONA-902847-A & ONA-902847-B) is a matched pair of mounting blocks used on the toggle side of the C80. Each block is machined with multiple bolt holes and an angled edge so it sits in the right place on the crusher body and gives the toggle plate a firm “seat”. Together, the A and B pieces lock the toggle plate in its working corridor, so the crusher can keep its designed stroke and crushing angle.
Machine model: Metso / Nordberg C80 jaw crusher
Part function: left-hand / right-hand lugs for the toggle plate group
Mounting: one piece on each side of the toggle plate, fixed to the jaw frame or to the moving jaw support (follow C80 layout)
When it is needed: overhaul of the toggle system, toggle plate / toggle seat replacement, or when the original lugs show wear, oval holes or hammered surfaces
Because the two parts are handed (A = one side, B = the other side), they must be installed as a set to keep the toggle line centered.
Paired design: A/B parts mirror each other to match the geometry of the C80 housing.
Multi-hole pattern: allows correct bolt routing and tight clamping of the toggle plate without shifting.
Angled & straight faces: one face aligns with the crusher structure, the other guides the toggle plate so it works in the intended angle.
Solid steel body: black anti-rust finish for storage and shipment, ready for painting or direct use.
Keeps the toggle plate on line – prevents side movement that can cause noise, uneven wear or toggle breakage.
Restores factory clearances – new lugs bring the toggle back to the correct height and angle, which helps to recover capacity.
Protects major castings – by giving the toggle a defined bearing surface, impact is taken by the lug (a small, cheap part) instead of the frame.
Fast to change – compact and bolted; a maintainer can swap it during a normal shutdown.
For tough crushing jobs – suitable for quarries, mining plants and recycling sites where the toggle area is subject to repeated shock loads.
Jaw crusher is running but toggle knocks or rattles → lug surface likely worn → replace A/B pair.
After a toggle plate failure → always check these lugs; if the toggle hit them hard, change the pair together.
Plant is switching to harder stone and wants the toggle system in perfect condition to avoid unplanned stops.
Part names: Toggle Plate Lug, LH – ONA-902847-A
Toggle Plate Lug, RH – ONA-902847-B
Crusher: Metso / Nordberg C80
Supply: as a matched set or individually, according to maintenance plan
Can be bundled with: toggle plate, toggle seat, front & rear frame wear parts
Q1. Do I have to buy both A and B?
For best alignment, yes. They are left/right parts; changing only one side can make the toggle run off-center.
Q2. How do I know the lug is worn out?
Look for elongated bolt holes, shiny hammered areas, or a toggle plate that no longer sits tight. Any of these means the locating face is gone.
Q3. Will this fit other Metso crushers?
No, this pair is dimensioned for the C80 layout. Other C-series models use different lugs and spacing.
Q4. Can I use it with aftermarket toggle plates?
Yes, as long as the toggle plate keeps the C80 dimensions. The lug’s job is to hold the plate in place.
Q5. What material is used?
High-strength steel suitable for impact / cyclic load; surface is black-coated for storage and transport.
